Derrick Keith Reuben was born April 7, 1989 in Staten Island, New York by father Raymond a foreman of a salvage yard, and Annie a stay at home mom. Derrick took a theater introduction class in 2008 at the College of Staten Island showing a interest in acting, but didn't start his career until 2015. Derrick while serving as a Sergeant in the US Army as a Combat Engineer at Fort Polk Louisiana in 2015 found a acting theater there called Showboat Theater. On his time off he participated in his first role in a play as a supporting character, and completed 8 shows. After receiving a honorable discharge Derrick went back to New York, and finished up his degree in Drama back at the College of Staten Island. Derrick is taking acting/coaching classes, and pursuing is his passion of his acting career full time.
